The modernized Drama School is located a short drive from the centre of Wroclaw, within a large residential community. This cultural institution, with its remarkable artistic achievements and cultural offerings, is an important landmark on a culture centres' map, not only locally, but also on a regional and international scale. This sui generis theatre centre has been created in a neighbourhood that thus far has had no access to the dramatic arts.

The State Drama School building is designed as a two-storey building with a basement and a two-level underground car park. The modernized building accommodates three auditoria, including a new, multipurpose small auditorium. The building also houses 19 fully equipped lecture rooms, a spacious library with a dedicated reading room, studios and storage spaces.

Part of the 3 000 m² elevation of the building is clad with 0.7 mm thick copper alloy TECU^® Brass sheet in the form of TECU^® System 240 x 30 cm shingles. The facade's perfectly crafted curved elements enhance the elegant lines of the building and serve to showcase the high level of craftsmanship and the quality of finishing. The brass gives the building a unique appearance that attracts attention but it manages not to compete with the surrounding urban landscape. Initially the metal facade shimmered, reflecting sunlight and street lamps, but over time this effect will fade due to the matt nature of the metal oxides developing on the surface of the cladding panels. The building is the first project in Poland to make utilize TECU^® Brass facade cladding.
